Tone Lōc
About this Event
Tone Lōc is an American rapper and actor best known for his hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," both of which became iconic tracks in the late '80s and early '90s. Born Anthony Terrell Smith in 1966, Tone Lōc emerged from the West Coast hip-hop scene with a distinctive deep voice and a blend of laid-back yet energetic rap style. His debut album, Lōc-ed After Dark (1989), went Platinum, and his success helped bring hip-hop into mainstream pop culture. In addition to his music career, Tone Lōc has appeared in films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. He remains a prominent figure in the history of rap and continues to perform and make occasional appearances in entertainment.

SMOKING: Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in Mayo Park.
WEATHER POLICY: Concerts will take place outdoors, rain or shine. Ponchos are preferred over umbrellas to keep sightlines unobstructed. In the case of threatening weather, the concert may be delayed, postponed, or, as a last resort, cancelled.
