View some of Kachina Wetland's fascinating birds through a spotting scope and learn about the history of this remarkable area. The two-mile walk will end at dusk with a stunning view of the San Francisco Peaks at sunset. Bring binoculars if you have them; a small pack with water, bug repellent, and a light jacket. Kachina Wetlands is known for its high diversity of birds, with over 250 species recorded there over time. This event is sponsored by Northern Arizona Audubon and will be led by Christina Vojta, wildlife ecologist and Audubon Steward for Kachina Wetlands.
