Community Workshop on Sickle Cell Disease Support in Liverpool
About this Event
The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) - SCORE project warmly invites people living with sickle cell disease, their families and the public to a special community workshop to launch a new project focused on improving local support services.
Together we will explore how community-based resource and wellbeing hubs can be established in the Liverpool area to improve health and wellbeing of people living with sickle cell disease.
This workshop is a chance to share your experiences, influence the design of future support services and connect with others in the sickle cell community. You can sign up to get more involved as a:
- Community research champion for the study
- Participants in interviews, group discussions and surveys
- Participants in quarterly workshops
