Ceramics Wheel 102: Making a Bookend Planter is a three-part course guiding you through the process of making a set of ceramic bookend planters. This class combines the two main forms of ceramics—wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques—to create two bookends.
This is an advanced beginner class. Students should have a basic level of wheel throwing skills such as centering, pulling walls, and trimming.
What You'll Learn:
- Learn methods to throw a planter with an attached drip tray.
- Learn and use handbuilding techniques to create two separate bookends from a single thrown planter.

- All materials: clay & glazes
- All tools: wheel, hand tools
