Join the Travis Manion Foundation and C.A.V.E. for the 2nd Annual Tacoma's 9/11 Heroes Run & Uniting Our Community Event! On September 20th, we gather at Tacoma's beautiful Point Defiance Park - Dune Peninsula to honor the fallen, support their families, and reaffirm our commitment to "If Not Me, Then Who..."
Last year, 103 incredible individuals joined us, and this year, we're aiming to double that number! Every step taken and every dollar raised goes directly to the families of our fallen heroes, ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten and their loved ones are supported. This is more than just an event; it's a powerful demonstration of community, resilience, and unwavering gratitude.
Our 5K is designed for everyone! You choose how to participate: run, walk, or ruck. This all-inclusive event welcomes individuals and groups of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best, enjoying a fun walk with family, or honoring heroes with a weighted ruck, your participation makes a profound difference.
Beyond the run, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we are thrilled to host a vibrant community resource fair, open to all! We'll have:
- The Bloodworks Northwest bus for life-saving donations.
- A diverse array of local vendors showcasing their unique offerings.
- Community resource tables providing valuable information and services.
- And so much more!
We believe in the power of community, and together, we can rebuild the village, one step at a time. This event is a testament to what we can achieve when we stand together.

- For Participants: Choose Your Challenge in the 5K! Run, walk, or ruck to honor our heroes starting at 1:00 PM! Your participation directly supports the families of fallen heroes. Register here:
