Discover the history of Cabbagetown, North America’s largest preserved Victorian Streetscape, from the early days of York to the present day. Virginia Van Vliet, native Cabbagetown resident and Walking tour guide for ROM, and Toronto Greeters, presents how this community, founded by immigrants and their modest hopes, first declined into a slum, then was saved from destruction and revived as a vibrant, diverse community and one of the city's first Heritage Conservation Districts.

This program is intended for adults. Drop in. No registration is required. Room 101.
