Nature & Sound: Sensing into the world before words
About this Event
Join Gina and Steph on a Nature and Sound Sensory immersion at Red Fox Farm on Saturday August 9th at 5:30pm.
During this immersion, we will co- create a safe space for the community to slow down, engage with our senses and fully inhabit the body, where we may discover hidden wisdom that exists inside the land we inhabit.
What was it like to receive information from the world, and each other, before the invention of language?
What may we gain by listening to the natural world and exploring communications and expression beyond the use of word alone?
The group will leave this immersion having gained new skills in communication, emotional regulation and ecological awareness, to take back into the modern world. This is a slow mindful wander around the grounds with frequent pauses for opportunities to deepen connection to nature, self and space. We will not be moving at a quick pace or covering a large distance, it is about being fully present with what is here, now.
