Tarot Mysteries: The Major Arcana

Connect with the Major Arcana of the Tarot through symbolism, archetype, and an understanding of psychology so you can start reading Tarot.

About this Event

This group mentorship session is often taken after Tarot Beginnings, although the two can be taken in either order. The 22 Major Arcana require self-study outside of what will be transmitted in this session, but this two-hour offering introduces the traditional meanings of all of the Major Arcana and several different ways you can connect with them over time.

The Major Arcana are approached through:

• Symbolism
• Archetypes
• Psychological development
• Meditation

The focus is on the traditional meanings of the Major Arcana in the upright position. It will very briefly touch on the concept of reversals, which can be extrapolated to all of the Tarot cards. We will not specifically address the Minor Arcana or Court cards, though it is possible to begin reading with just the Majors. A simple two and three card reading will be demonstrated so that you can begin to use the cards.

Traditional decks based on the Rider-Waite version of the Tarot will most closely align with the course curriculum, but bring your favorite Tarot deck (or buy one at the shop) and we will work with it. Early bird pricing of $35 ends September 27, and then the regular ticket price will be $40 until the day before the event. Late registration is $50. Preregistration is required so there are sufficient course materials for everyone.
