Prototyping for Small Businesses

Learn how a cutting machine can help you quickly and cheaply prototype business cards, signage, displays, and even product packaging!

About this Event

If you are running a small business or hoping to launch one, then this class will help you assess how a Cricut can help you create custom signage, product displays, individualized packaging, rapidly prototype new designs, even customize business cards and thank-you gifts for clients. There are few machines capable of so much at such an accessible pricepoint for the small-scale entrepreneur. Learn how to make it worth your while!

While this is not a project-based class, participants should expect to see live demonstrations of both the design and production process, and to take home material samples. We will be using Inkscape and Cricut Design Space software, but participants are not required to bring their own devices. Information will be provided on where you can access a cricut locally for no or low cost if you do not have personal access to a machine.

Children 10+ are welcome with a child ticket and paying adult participant. Youth ages 15+ are welcome to attend solo.
