Join Epic Books at Pinch Bakery & Plant Shop for a new social-justice-oriented book club! Every month we'll read a nonfiction book on a different social issues and discuss what we've learned and how we can use it to implement positive grassroots change in our community. Come for the delicious free treats from Pinch (iykyk), stay for a great discussion of books and community!

This month's book is Loving Corrections by adrienna maree brown. Filled with practical wisdom on how to be a trustworthy communicator while providing bold visions for a shared future, Loving Corrections can speak to everyone caught in the crossroads of our political challenges and potential. No matter how new to the struggle, or how numerous our failures, brown’s indispensable writing is an invitation to us all.

After a guided discussion of the book, we'll talk about how we can take what we've learned and use it to implement real, lasting change in our communities.
