Summertime Herbs - Crafting Botanical Joy in Community

Join Emmy Chahal for a summer evening of joy, learning, and creativity centred around exploring plant allies for summer.

About this Event

Together, we will get to know a few specific herbs, craft our herbal-infused mocktails, learn how to create a delicious tea blend, and make a body oil! You will take home a sample of your personal tea/herbal infusion and your own blend of herbal body oil. 

This will be a hands-on, interactive workshop with plenty of time to engage your senses, build new relationships with a few plants, and come together in community to celebrate the joy of herbal medicine. 

Bio:

Emmy Chahal is an intuitive healer, yoga teacher, doula, and plant enthusiast/herbal practitioner living on Lekwungen Territories. She has completed an 8-month herbal immersion at Wild Folk Herbal Farm, learning about herbal medicine making and sustainable agriculture. Emmy is continually learning from and with the plant world and is the maker behind a small product line called Lakshmi Sky, offering botanical oils, bath salts, and hydrosols.
