Fierce Vulnerability — Book Talk with author Kazu Haga
About this Event
Fierce Vulnerability — Book Talk with author Kazu Haga
Join us for an intimate evening with author Kazu Haga as he discusses his latest book, , and shares his own experiences and stories of fierce vulnerability and practicing healing resistance.
In times of collapse, we need a movement that recognizes injustice as a reflection of collective trauma and embraces its role as a catalyst for collective healing through transformative action.
We are living at a breaking point. Across the U.S., ecological collapse, economic injustice, and rising authoritarianism are converging, throwing communities into fear and reactivating generations of collective trauma. In times like these, panic can override our deepest values—making it harder to stay grounded in nonviolence.
Join us as we grapple with essential questions of this moment:
- What does it truly mean to commit to nonviolence in a world saturated with violence?
- How can nonviolent action serve as a pathway for collective trauma healing?
- In the face of relentless urgency, how do we remember to pause—and to breathe?
- How do we keep showing up for justice, affirm life, create beauty, and build community—even as the systems around us are collapsing?
This in-person event will be held at the Resource Center For Nonviolence. All are welcome!
