$170 ($20 of each ticket price goes towards the fee for the model)

Class Description:

d'Art Associate Artist Jenn Hilliard is hosting a new format Workshop Series, Figure Drawing! You'll work with Jenn to explore your skills of gestural drawing, then move onto figure drawing with a live model.

Requires an intermediate skill level established in your own studies or by attending one of Jenn's Intro to Sketching workshops (next course available in August, sign up here: https://introtosketching.eventbrite.com).

Sessions 1 -3:

These classes will begin with building a grasp of gestural drawing. With a live model* for reference we will move along with exercises and feedback to lock in good hand-eye coordination, accomplish successful full figures and then end with a finished piece. Peer review and discussion will end all lessons.

*Live model will not be nude as these sessions will take place in our Main Gallery during operational hours.

2b pencils

4b pencils

11x14 drawing pads

optional but highly recommended

-16x20 clipboard (for artpads)

-Bulldog clips, Binder clips or Spring Clips
