Meet Our Instructors: Alex Morel & Desiree Godsell

Specializing in Latin-style dancing, Alex and Desiree partnered in 2015 to share their passion with the world. Whether it’s teaching at the world’s premier dance festivals or bringing exciting, energetic showcases to stages across the globe, they are currently among the most sought-after artists today. While both Alex and Desiree are well-rounded in many forms of dance, the world has truly embraced their interpretation of Bachata. They have undoubtedly become the leading couple representing Bachata Clásica, also known as Traditional or Dominican Style Bachata.

Their trajectory includes winning world-coveted titles and recognition for their signature choreography and their abundant contributions to the Latin dance scene. You may have also seen Alex & Desiree on television shows, music videos, and all over social media platforms. Despite their popularity, however, their focus continues to be the spread of joy and passion through the growth of dance communities everywhere. Apart from coaching and training dancers from across the globe, Alex and Desiree are also part of the official judging panel at two of the world's most prestigious Dance Championships: the World Salsa Summit and Bachatea World Masters.

This immersive weekend includes an exclusive 3-Day Certification Program for those serious about their Bachata development, with opportunities for dancers to test and certify their skills on Day 3.

🗓️ Day 1: Friday, January 2nd @ The Dance Factory Tampa Bay

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Traditional Bachata Certification Workshop begins!

9:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Alex & Desiree Bachata Workshop

10:00 PM - 2:00 AM: Social Dance with Alex & Desiree! They'll be on the dance floor!

🗓️ Day 2: Saturday, January 3rd @ Yuengling Brewery

11:00 AM (for 4 hours): Certification Workshop continuation! Dive deeper into the program, preparing for potential certification.

8:00 PM - 9:00 PM: RELPro Social! Alex & Desiree will teach an Bachata Workshop to kick off the social, followed by an electrifying performance and more social dancing with them throughout the night!

Time TBD (2 Hours) on Day 2: Certification/Testing Sessions for dancers looking to get certified by Alex & Desiree!

Afternoon at 4:00 PM: Concludes with our Sunday Afternoon Social (open to all).

REL Professional Services LLC (DBA: RELPro Dance Promotions & RELPro Events & Entertainment) ("Organizer") is not responsible for, and disclaims any liability arising from, your behavior.

No Defamation, Libel, or Slander: You agree not to engage in any defamatory, libelous, or slanderous statements, whether written or verbal, against the Organizer, its staff, other attendees, or any third party, whether during or after the Event. You understand that such actions may result in legal action by the affected parties.

Harassment, Assault, and Criminal Activity: The Organizer has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, assault, and any other criminal activity. You understand that engaging in such behavior is strictly prohibited and may result in your immediate removal from the Event and potential legal consequences. The Organizer expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for the actions of attendees or staff members who engage in such activities.

No Affiliation: The Organizer's role is limited to organizing and facilitating the Event. Your attendance does not create any affiliation, partnership, or agency relationship with the Organizer. The Organizer is not responsible for any actions or statements made by attendees or staff members outside of the scope of their official duties related to the Event.

Release and Indemnification: You agree to release and indemnify the Organizer, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your conduct during the Event, including, but not limited to, claims related to defamation, libel, slander, harassment, assault, or other criminal activities.

Florida Law: This disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action arising from this disclaimer shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Florida.

Right of Removal: The Organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee from the Event for any conduct that it deems disruptive, inappropriate, or in violation of this disclaimer.

Severability: If any provision of this disclaimer is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Reporting and Legal Action: You understand that any claims of harassment, assault, or other potential criminal accusations communicated to the Organizer about any attendee or staff member will be immediately shared with the Organizer's legal counsel for further review and potential legal action. The Organizer is not obligated to take action on hearsay or claims that cannot be proven in a court of law. The Organizer reserves the right to cooperate fully with law enforcement in any investigation. The Organizer also reserves the right to pause the work or attendance of any staff member or attendee, respectively, as legal proceedings provide a result.

Staff Liability Release: All Organizer staff members have signed a release of liability, indemnifying the Organizer from any and all claims related to their actions, whether lawful or unlawful, that are not directly related to their assigned duties during the Event.
