Calling all pet lovers! Get ready for a fun and relaxed pet portrait watercolor class! Simply send a photo of your furry friend to aGVsbG8gfCBhbGV4YW5kcmFzY2htZWxpbmcgISBjb20=, and I'll prepare an outline on 8x10 watercolor paper. During the class, I'll walk you through painting your pet using watercolor techniques, making it easy for any skill level. By the end, you'll have a finished portrait of your furry friend to take home, along with a watercolor paint palette and brush to continue your artistic journey. This class is all about having a good time, so come ready to paint and unwind!

Class will begin with a warm-up exercise that will provide the foundation for the rest of the class, so please make sure you arrive on time! Parking in OLD TOWN ALEXANDRIA/GEORGETOWN can be tricky, so please allow plenty of time to find parking so you are able to make it to class by the start time. Thank you!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Alexandra Schmeling is a watercolor artist based in Arlington, VA. She started her career as a watercolor painter doing pet portraits to raise money for local animal shelters, and now does her art full-time! She specializes in pet portraits and scenes around DC, though her absolute favorite thing to paint is France.
