Fall Vegetable Seed Starting Workshop
About this Event
This hands-on workshop is appropriate for gardeners of all skill levels. It will cover the basics of starting seeds to grow your own transplants, as well as direct seeding.
Participants will learn all about:
- seeds and how to take care of them;
- understanding seed packets and catalogs
- a variety of container and media types for growing transplants
- how to set up an indoor seed starting light system
- what crops can be grown in the fall
- when and how to set out the transplants
Course fee covers a seed starting kit including containers, germination mix, humidity dome, seeds and seeding tools to get started.
