Sounds of Freedom Benefiting Project SOAR

ACCESS of Wilmington is bringing the Sounds of Freedom to North Carolina!

Proceeds from the Sounds of Freedom Benefit Concert will support ACCESS of Wilmington’s Project SOAR, which provides adaptive sports and recreation programs for Veterans with disabilities and First Responders.

At ACCESS of Wilmington, we believe in the transformative power of connection, recreation, and community. Project SOAR (Sports, Outreach, Adapted Recreation) creates an inclusive environment where Veterans, many living with service-connected disabilities or illnesses, and all First Responders can improve their health, well-being, and sense of connection.

For Veterans transitioning from military to civilian life, Project SOAR offers more than outdoor activities — it provides hope, camaraderie, and a renewed sense of purpose. We currently serve over 75 Veterans directly and reach hundreds more through partnerships with multiple Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).
