Join us for a joyful evening of community, connection, and family fun during Joy For Jordan Day – Family Fun Nighton Wednesday, June 18th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Terra Cafe’s Jerk Garden (101 E. 25th Street, Baltimore, MD 21218).

This family-friendly gathering will include:

💛 About Joy For Jordan Day

Dear Village,
Brown Girl Wellness made a request for Baltimore City to recognize Joy For Jordan Day to raise awareness for childhood wellness and literacy — and we are proud to share that Mayor Brandon Scott has officially designated it as an annual day in Baltimore City.

This day honors Jordan Reid-el, a courageous 10-year-old girl currently in hospice care. Though she cannot play outside or feel the warmth of the sun, Jordan finds light through her love of books. Her strength, spirit, and resilience are a powerful reminder of the joy that lives in each child — and the importance of supporting children and families facing unimaginable challenges.

Celebrate Joy For Jordan Day earlier in the day at Port Discovery Children’s Museum, from 1 PM to 4 PM, where kids can explore, play, and learn in a safe and joyful space.
