Tuesday Afternoon Pottery: All Levels
About this Event
Dates: Tuesdays, July 29th - September 2nd, 2025
Time: 2:30-5:00 PM
Meet on Tuesday afternoons for six weeks with instructor, Angie Tripp, to explore the world of pottery! This class is primarily for beginner through intermediate level potters, encompassing both beginning hand-building and throwing. Angie will work with students as a group and individually to help you accomplish your goals!
Tickets include one (1) 25 lbs bag of stoneware clay, firings for pieces created with first 25 lbs of clay, use of studio glazes and tools, and two Open Studio Sessions to work on your projects outside of class. (Projects must be completed and Open Studio Sessions used within two weeks of the end of class.)
Other clay, glazes, and personal tool kits are available for purchase through All Hands Pottery Studio. Open Studio passes must be used within two week of the end of classes. Guidance for firing pieces will be provided β added dimensions of any one piece are not to exceed 24β to conserve and maximize kiln space (example: height 4β, width 8β, length 12β = 24β). Additional pieces may be fired at a fee.
More about Angie:
Her approach is warm, supportive, and deeply personal β from literally holding your hands at the wheel to offering new ways to look at a technique until it clicks. Angie knows that pottery is as much about patience and persistence as it is about skill, and sheβs here to guide you through the highs, lows, and everything in between.
Her pottery style? Whimsical, functional, and one of a kind. Her advice? Be patient with yourself β βit will all come together.β
When she's not in the studio, youβll find her at the beach, in the garden, playing pickleball, or deep in a home improvement project. But no matter what she's doing, she's all in β and thatβs exactly how she shows up for her students.
