Presenter

Eleanor Goodall is a longtime volunteer and active member of the Beacon Food Forest community. Since 2020, she has been leading tours and helping grow the BFF Education Committee's programs. Eleanor brings her love of gardening, habitat restoration, and foraging to her work at BFF, where she enjoys connecting people to the land and each other. When she is not volunteering at BFF, she enjoys working in her own garden, doing habitat restoration work, foraging for mushrooms and other wild edibles, singing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Location:

Meet at the Beacon Food Forest Gathering Plaza, where a Beacon Food Forest volunteer guide will lead you on a tour through the site. You’ll learn about the food forest’s design, the wide variety of edible and useful plants growing there, and discover the best spots to harvest the season’s bounty. In this third session, the focus will be on Gathering willow branches, leaves, flowers, seeds, and more to make seasonal wreaths.
