Train this fall to lead nature events, connect people to the Laguna, and join a vibrant team of passionate volunteers!

About this Event

Help bring the Laguna Foundation’s community events to life! Our year-round presentations, nature outings, and workshops deepen appreciation for the Laguna de Santa Rosa, connect people with nature, and inspire a vibrant, informed community.

These are made possible by Laguna Guides—dedicated volunteers who support events by:

  • Greeting and engaging attendees
  • Sharing knowledge about the Laguna
  • Setting up and breaking down event spaces
  • Directing parking and assisting with merchandise
  • Helping foster enthusiasm for this Wetland of International Importance

Benefits of Being a Laguna Guide:

  • Attend fascinating events for free
  • Join a friendly team of nature-lovers
  • Serve the community
  • Enjoy continuing education, special outings, and volunteer socials
