Description: Volunteer Park is full of organic feasts for the eyes - from duck-filled ponds to epic trees. It also offers structural bounty including, the amazing architecture of the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the incredible water tower. In addition, the iconic Black Sun sculpture offers a unique focal point, while the botanical conservatory offers plants and flowers galore. There's endless vantage points and focuses to inspire your artistic instincts and skills. It's the best of a city plein air location. Lots of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking available. It's a popular park so arrive early.

Meeting Time & Place:

Volunteer Park is located at 1247 15th Avenue E, Seattle, 98117.
Meet at 9am by the Black Sun sculpture across from the Seattle Asian Art Museum

Parking: There is parking inside the park and street parking.

Lunch plans:

Bring your lunch or plan to visit one of the local cafes or restaurants at your convenience.

After lunch:

There is no set location post lunch. There are plenty of locations within the park to choose from. Choose the locations that appeal to you.

Directions:

Car - Easily located north or south of the city via I-5.
