Meditations in Ink: Sumi Brush Painting with Bruce Iverson
About this Event
Asian brush painting demands a balance of skill, mindfulness, and intuition. Each stroke is final β thereβs no erasing, no second chances. When "heart, mind, and hand are in accord," the results can be truly magical. Learn the relaxing art of sumi brush painting with renown artist and teacher Bruce Iverson. In this hands-on, day-long workshop, participants will learn the philosophy of sumi brush painting, and then practice the art themselves while observing traditional bamboo. Each person will create two finished projects and leave with several handouts for practicing at home.
