We vragen ons af hoe het met hen gaat. We stellen ons voor hoe het zou zijn om opnieuw contact te maken, maar voelen ons onzeker over waar te beginnen. Soms nemen we geen contact op omdat we bang zijn dat de ander afstandelijk zal zijn, niet zal reageren, of dat het contact zwaar of teleurstellend zal aanvoelen.Maar kloppen die aannames wel? En zelfs als sommige ervan waar zijn, zou het dan niet toch de moeite waard zijn om het te proberen — zodat we de staat van de relatie met helderheid begrijpen in plaats van te blijven gissen? In het proberen een verloren verbinding te herstellen, kunnen we ook iets over onszelf leren dat we anders niet zouden hebben ontdekt.Dus: hoe beginnen we?In deze sessie maken we samen een kleine set vragen die een sluimerende relatie op een zachte manier opnieuw kunnen openen, aangevuld met eenvoudige spelregels die helpen om een ongemakkelijk gesprek te beginnen, gaande te houden of er op een respectvolle manier uit te stappen. In attempting to recover a lost connection, we may also learn something about ourselves that we wouldn't have discovered otherwise.So how do we start?In this session, we will create a small set of questions that can gently reopen a dormant relationship, along with simple rules that help us enter, sustain, or gracefully exit an awkward conversation.
