Join internationally acclaimed Fusion Bellydance artists Tjarda van Straten and Lisa Müller-Albrecht for a transformative weekend of dance, artistry, and inspiration.

For more than fifteen years, Tjarda and Lisa’s creative paths have crossed, two artists who have each stood at the forefront of the Fusion Bellydance movement in Europe, shaping its evolution with open minds and innovative vision. Their shared passion for authenticity, musicality, and expressive depth now merges in Alma y Movimiento, a weekend dedicated to movement with soul. Tjarda and Lisa bring over 40 years of combined international teaching and performance experience.

Over two days and four immersive workshops (10 hours total), participants will explore refined technique, creative expression, and musical sensitivity, leaving with two complete choreographies to make their own. Each teacher will guide you through a full choreography across two sessions, focusing on different aspects of the dance: from lines and fluidity to intention, rhythm, and stage presence.

Workshops can be taken individually or as a complete journey, a celebration of connection, artistry, and the living pulse of Fusion dance. All workshop are cohesive, they have a relationship with eachother.

*A meeting of worlds: Flamenco Roots and Fusion.*
Both Tjarda and Lisa share a profound love for Flamenco, an influence that subtly but powerfully weaves through their work. Drawing from years of study and experience in various Flamenco-inspired forms, ranging from traditional roots to contemporary and barefoot approaches, they bring a rich, expressive foundation to their teaching. This weekend is not only created for Fusion Bellydancers, but also warmly welcomes Flamenco dancers and movers from other disciplines who are curious to explore a different movement language touched by the expressiveness and grounding of Flamenco.

What You’ll Take Home after this 2-day workshop weekend:
•	Two complete Fusion Bellydance choreographies (one from  each artist) / or a seperate combo per workshop
•	Refined understanding of musical interpretation and phrasing
•	Expanded creative vocabulary and stage presence
•	Tools for expressive storytelling and intention in movement
•	Inspiration, community, and renewed artistic energy

Practical Information:

• 4 workshops in total, each 2.5 hours
• Join a single workshop, one full day, or immerse yourself in the complete weekend
• Suitable to all-level fusion bellydancers (minimum 1 year of experience recommended), plus curious Flamenco dancers and movers from other disciplines interested in exploring Fusion Bellydance.
