Peat is the ancient, partially decomposed plant matter found in bogs and moorlands. When dried and burned beneath the malting barley, it releases dense, earthy smoke that infuses the grain with its unmistakable character. The result is a whisky style loved for its primitive fire: smoky, rugged, complex, and unapologetically bold.
Join us for The Smokestack Sessions, an immersive all-peated whisky tasting celebrating the full spectrum of smoke. From gentle coastal whispers to full-blown phenolic powerhouses, we’ll explore how terroir, tradition, and technique shape each dram.
Expect a guided lineup of distinctive peated expressions, stories from the peatlands, and a deep dive into why these whiskies continue to captivate enthusiasts worldwide.

For those who can’t make it to The Smokestack Sessions, a limited number of sample sets of the full peated line-up may be made available. (55 “whollybucks"/sample set)
But fair warning: we’ll naturally give priority to the brave souls who join us in person—the ones willing to face the smoke head-on.
If any sets remain after the event, they’ll be released… cautiously… before the peat fumes clear.
