Zoar Civil War Reenactment

One of Ohio's largest Civil War Reenactments returns in 2025 as reenactors "invade" Historic Zoar Village

One of the largest Civil War Event in the State of Ohio comes to the historic Village of Zoar, Ohio on September 20 & 21, 2025, when Civil War reenactors “invade” the town to commemorate the 23th Anniversary of the Zoar Civil War Event.

Battles both Saturday (Battle of Appomattox Court House) and Sunday, as well as artillery night fire.

Battle times: Saturday-2:00pm,
Sunday- 12:30pm

Special demonstrations for area schools will take place on Friday Sept. 15th.
