Yok war fast 30 Jahre lang Taxifahrer in Berlin. Davon erzählt er in seinem neuen Programm ebenso wie von den Blitzbirnen, die mehr und mehr die soziale und politische Atmosphäre vergiften. Zwischendurch immer wieder Musik, mit der Yok schon seit 1984 unterwegs ist. Von 1989 - 1994 hieß das "Quetschenpaua", von 1995 - 1999 dann "Tod und Mordschlag". Von 2001 - 2012 war er Teil des Musiktheaterkollektivs "Revolte Springen" und spielt seit 2009 mit seiner Band "option weg“ Platzpatronenpunk. Aktuell sind solo auch ein paar Punk-Cover im Programm, am Akkordeon wohlgemerkt! Aus den Büchern NICHTS BLEIBT (Autonomografie 2019) und TAXITANIC (Taxifahren ist wie Punk, nur mit Reifen und ohne Saufen 2025)gibt es kurze Leseproben.
