Our Artist of the Month for September: Julie Shaffer

Unimpressed with what she found in stores, she stumbled upon a spoon ring at an antique flea market, sparking an idea that would become her passion. Today, Julie transforms forgotten vintage silverware into a stunning collection of jewelry. Each piece is thoughtfully selected for its history, and as Julie cleans away the tarnish to reveal its natural shine, she imagines the stories it could tell - the family dinners, the special occasions, and the conversations held around the table. Her collection includes rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and even playful fork bugs, each one breathing new life into a piece of the past. Julie creates not just an item, but a connection to a bygone era.
