The YMCA and Ohio University Zanesville’s COMS 4050 Students are partnering with the Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center for a yoga-based class event that is in support of the K-9 Adoption Center. All levels of experience are welcome. Sign up to have fun doing yoga while supporting the pups. Additionally, there is a chance to win a gift card.

Join the fun on Saturday, April 11th from 12pm-1:30pm in studio 2 of the YMCA. The event is $15 to sign-up, and those proceeds will go to the K-9 Adoption Center to help support their cause. The Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center is a county-funded facility that offers a safe haven and provides much needed help for dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, and homeless. Please keep in mind that the YMCA has a limited number of yoga mats, so participants should consider bringing their own if they can. Also, there is no need to bring pets. We are hoping that the K-9 Adoption Center will be bringing in some of their own pups to come join in on the yoga fun.

The Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center is also requesting donations of supplies. If you want to bring in items to donate, these are the items that are needed:

Soft Treats
Greenies Pill Pockets
Collars (Medium and Large)
Hard Durable Chew Bones/Toys
Kongs
Blankets
Large Buckets
Lint Rollers
Microfiber Towels
