Ako postoji bend koji već gotovo tri desetljeća uspješno izbjegava svaku moguću žanrovsku ladicu – to je ZU. Kultni talijanski trio iz Ostije kraj Rima od 1997. neumorno gradi vlastiti glazbeni svemir u kojem se sudaraju metal, noise, prog, industrial, elektronika, ambient, jazz i suvremena eksperimentalna glazba. Rezultat je zvuk koji ne podsjeća ni na koga drugoga. I vraćaju nam se u VIB, što bi ujedno trebao biti 20. nastup u Zagrebu.

Tijekom karijere odsvirali su tisuće koncerata diljem svijeta i objavili više od petnaest albuma, stekavši status jednog od najvažnijih kultnih bendova europske avangardne scene. Njihova lista suradnji impresivna je koliko i njihova diskografija – od Mikea Pattona, Johna Zorna, Joea Lallyja (Fugazi), Kinga Buzza (The Melvins), Dama Suzukija (Can), FM Einheita (Einstürzende Neubauten), pa sve do japanskih noise legendi Ruins, s kojima danas nastupaju kao RuinsZu.

💿 Početkom 2026. objavili su novi album "Ferrum Sidereum", produciran od strane Marca Ursellija i izdan za House of Mythology, nakon čega kreću na veliku europsku turneju koja ih dovodi i u Zagreb.
