Predstavljanje informacijskog sustava VANIS: Visual Artists Networks Infomation System
Stvorena i razvijana kroz dva znanstveno-istraživačka projekta dr. sc. Ljiljane Kolešnik, informacijska platforma VANIS predstavlja se javnosti i otvara vanjskim korisnicima.
Riječ je prvoj, javno dostupnoj bazi podataka iz domene moderne i suvremene vizualne umjetnosti u ovom dijelu Europe, opremljenoj nizom sučelja za vizualizaciju podataka, čiji će se daljnji razvoj odvijati kroz projekt Housing.YU (ERC) i DIGitART (NextGeneration EU) Instituta za povijest umjetnosti. Preko VANIS-a je ostvarena uspješna suradnja Instituta s nekoliko baštinskih i profesionalnih institucija, poput Muzeja grada Zagreba i Muzeja moderne i suvremene umjetnosti u Rijeci te Hrvatskog društva likovnih umjetnika.
Kako bismo proširili mrežu suradnika i približili funkcionalnosti ovog digitalnog alata širem krugu istraživača iz polja humanističkih i društvenih znanosti, stručnjacima iz GLAM sektora i polja nezavisne kulture, kao i zainteresiranoj javnosti, pozivamo vas na javno predstavljanje VANIS-a koje će se održati na Institutu za povijest umjetnosti u ponedjeljak, 15. prosinca 2025. godine, u 17.00 sati.
Na predstavljanju će govoriti:
- dr. sc. Ljiljana Kolešnik, emerita na Institutu za povijest umjetnosti, stručna savjetnica projekta Housing.YU (ERC)
- dr. sc. Artur Šilić, autor programskog rješenja VANIS-a
- dr. sc. Tamara Bjažić Klarin, znanstvena savjetnica u Institutu za povijest umjetnosti, voditeljica projekta Housing.YU (ERC)
- dr. sc. Tihana Puc, kustosica u Muzeju grada Zagreba, voditeljica Zbirke hrvatskih slikarica rođenih u 19. stoljeću
- dr. sc. Sanja Horvatinčić, znanstvena suradnica na Institutu za povijest umjetnosti, voditeljica projekta DIGitART (NextGeneration EU)
- Irena Šimić, voditeljica dokumentacijske službe Instituta za povijest umjetnosti
Razgovor će moderirati Marija Jurić, stručna suradnica u znanosti i visokom obrazovanju – za dokumentaciju i informacijske sustave (Housing.YU).

Presentation of the VANIS Information System: Visual Artists Networks Information System
Created and developed through two research projects led by Dr. Ljiljana Kolešnik, the VANIS information platform is being presented to the public and opened to external users.
This is the first publicly accessible database in the field of modern and contemporary visual art in this part of Europe, equipped with a series of data visualization interfaces. Its further development will continue through the Institute of Art History's Housing.YU (ERC) and DIGitART (NextGeneration EU) projects. VANIS has also enabled successful collaboration between the Institute and several heritage and professional institutions, such as the Zagreb City Museum, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, and the Croatian Association of Artists.
To expand our network of collaborators and introduce the functionalities of this digital tool to a wider circle of researchers from the humanities and social sciences, professionals from the GLAM sector and independent culture field, as well as the interested public, we invite you to the public presentation of VANIS, which will be held at the Institute of Art History on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Speakers will include:

- Dr. Artur Šilić, author of the VANIS software solution
