Pozivamo vas na otvorenje samostalne izložbe Luke Pešuna „Jesi čist?”, odabranog pobjedničkog projekta natječaja za produkciju i izlaganje Tvornica 2025.

Umjesto romantizacije ili fokusa na tabu, “Jesi čist?” pristupa douchingu kao kompleksnoj praksi koja istodobno može biti nespretna, ponekad kaotična, (ne)praktična, ali i intimna. To je čin koji uključuje pripremu, planiranje, odnos prema vlastitom tijelu, uzbuđenje i želju za povezivanjem — makar i sa samim sobom. Time izložba doprinosi diskursu o seksualnom obrazovanju koje nedostaje u institucijama, a queer zajednica ga prenosi kroz razgovore, pokušaje i vlastite oblike iskustvenog učenja. “Jesi čist?” tako postaje poziv na otvorenost i destigmatizaciju. Izložba zagovara pravo na znanje, na sigurnost, na autonomiju, i pristupa seksualnosti kao prostoru radoznalosti, učenja, istraživanja i zajedništva. Luka Pešun gradi prostor razumijevanja u kojem ono skriveno i intimno iskustvo postaje vidljivo i podijeljeno, a prije svega – prihvatljivo. Bez srama i bez kompromisa.

Luka Pešun (Zagreb, 1990.) u svojem umjetničkom radu koristi medij fotografije kako bi istražio teme identiteta, obitelji i pripadanja, a u suštini se bavi kontekstom i načinom na koji promjena istog mijenja čitanje. Studirao je modni dizajn na Tekstilno-tehnološkom fakultetu i diplomirao fotografiju na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti 2019. godine. Dobitnik je Rektorove nagrade, 2016. Sudjelovao je na raznim grupnim i samostalnim izložbama. 

Diplomski rad „Radite to u svoja četiri zida“ izlaže 2019. u Galeriji f8 ADU te u sklopu festivala Poreč Dox, te 2022. u Puli u sklopu manifestacije Proces 2022. Fotografija iz diplomske serije bila je izložena na billboardu u Zagrebu 2020. godine u sklopu programa Ploha/Površina 6. Dio šireg ciklusa fotografske serije Domestic izlaže 2021. u Splitu u sklopu programa qIZLOŽBE te zatim iste godine u Puli na poziv udruge Proces. Isti rad predstavlja 2022. godine zagrebačkoj publici na 36. Salonu mladih u sklopu tematske cjeline Paraziti. 

Na grupnoj izložbi Then and Again. Rethinking Ritual in Contemporary Balkans 2024. u Thessalonikiju, Grčkoj predstavlja rad Dodir. U Galeriji Spot iste godine izlaže multimedijalni interaktivni rad Wiped Clean koristeći VR tehnologiju i preuzete arhivske i medicinke fotografije. Wiped Clean pobjeđuje na 13. izdanju međunarodnog natječaja Different Worlds 2025. u sklopu kojeg je bio dio grupne izložbe finalista u galeriji Photon, Ljubljana, Slovenija.

Join us for the opening of Luka Pešun’s exhibition “Are You Clean?”, selected as the winning project of this year’s Tvornica 2025 open call for production and exhibition.

Rather than romanticising or treating it as taboo, Are You Clean? approaches douching as a complex practice that can be awkward, chaotic, (im)practical, and deeply intimate. It is an act involving preparation, planning, bodily awareness, excitement, and the desire for connection – even if that connection is with oneself. The exhibition contributes to the discourse around sexual education that remains absent from institutions, yet circulates within the queer community through conversation, trial and error, and forms of experiential learning. Are You Clean? becomes a call for openness and destigmatisation. It advocates for the right to knowledge, safety, and autonomy, and approaches sexuality as a space of curiosity, learning, exploration, and togetherness. Pešun creates a space of understanding in which hidden and intimate experiences become visible, shareable, and — above all – acceptable. Without shame and without compromise.

Luka Pešun (Zagreb, 1990) uses photography to explore themes of identity, family, and belonging, focusing on context and how its shifts reshape interpretation. He studied Fashion Design at the Faculty of Textile Technology and graduated in Photography from the Academy of Dramatic Art in 2019.

He received the Rector’s Award in 2016 and has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. His graduate project “Do It Within Your Four Walls” was shown in 2019 at Gallery f8 ADU and at the Poreč Dox festival, and later in 2022 in Pula as part of Proces 2022. A photograph from the series was exhibited on a Zagreb billboard in 2020 within the Ploha/Površina 6 program. A segment of his broader photographic cycle Domestic was shown in 2021 in Split (qIZLOŽBE program) and later that year in Pula (Proces). The same work was presented to Zagreb audiences at the 36th Salon of Youth (the “Parasites” section). He exhibited the work Touch at the group exhibition Then and Again. Rethinking Ritual in Contemporary Balkans (Thessaloniki, 2024). In 2024 he also presented Wiped Clean at Galerija Spot — a multimedia interactive work employing VR technology and sourced archival and medical imagery. Wiped Clean won the 13th edition of the international competition Different Worlds 2025, where it was part of the finalists’ exhibition at Photon Gallery, Ljubljana.
