It is set to take place at Zagreb's Kinoteka Cinema, with programs from September 22 to 26, 2026, with the official opening event at Histrionski dom (Ilica 90) where the pioneer of expanded cinema 𝐆𝐮𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐧 will perform his seminal work 𝑀𝑎𝑛 𝑊𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑀𝑖𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑟.

In addition to programs at Studio-Gallery Klet and the Academy of Fine Arts, the Festival is proud to present a very special two-day seminar, 𝐷𝑖𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠, to take place immediately prior to the Festival, on September 21 and 22, at Surogatkino KIC (Preradovićeva ulica 5).

A total of 25 experimental films have been divided into six programs: Missing Parts, Elsewhere, Force Lines, Metamorphoses, Present Imperfect & Land, Lens, Empire.

A special feature-length treat awaits us with Carlos Casas' Krakatoa, hybrid film composed of a speculative fiction, documentary sonic narrative and abstract scientific imaging, built around a testimony from a survivor of the last Krakatoa eruption in 2018.
