Mineral Sunscreen - a Hands-on Tutorial

Join us for a cosy afternoon of crafting at Labör - https://www.laboer.ch/

As a small group of up to 6 persons, we will make a natural mineral sunscreen that protects you and your family as well as the coral reefs. This is suitable for sensative skin.

Each participant will take home a jar of sunscreen (perhaps also a tinted stick if we have time!) as well as clear directions to continue your practice at home.

Language: This workshop will be held in English. Michelle will communicate concepts in German to the best of her ability and share all digital resources in both German and English.

Payment: To complete your registration, please sign up here and complete payment for the materials fee via Twint (in follow-up email). Without payment your registration will not be held as we need to preorder materials and our group size is small (max 6 persons).

About Labor: Labor is a community-building space that centers sustainability, closed-loop concepts, and knowledge sharing. We are so happy to offer our crafternoon series for you.

About your host: Michelle has been crafting with friends her whole life. Growing up on a multi-generational family farm in Vermont, she started making and selling wreaths at 12, jellies & pickels at 14 and so on. She started making her own sunscreen, soaps, and lotions with and for friends in Hawaii a decade ago - they encouraged her to start a little business and she did! After relocating to Zurich, she continues to make these things, but just for fun. Let's get crafty.
