# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Let's Play- Scythe
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 17 Oct, 2026 at 02:00 pm (-04:00)
- **Event Description**: You asked for some longer, more in depth games, so we are bringing Let’s Play to a Saturday!

In Scythe, you will lead your faction through an alternate history 1920s Europe as you explore the map, gather resources, build structures, recruit workers, and deploy powerful mechs. There are lots of different paths to victory, and every decision helps shape your faction as the game progresses. Scythe combines engine building, resource management, area control, and strategic decision making into a bigger game experience than our usual Let’s Play demos!

Since Scythe is a longer and more involved game, we are holding this Let’s Play on a Saturday so we have plenty of time to teach the game and play without feeling rushed. If you have been wanting to try some of the bigger games in our library but have been intimidated by learning them on your own, this is a great opportunity to give one a try!

Let us walk you through how to play, meet some new people, and have fun learning a new game that may end up being a new favorite!

$5 table fee per person for ages 13+ (12 and under AND all members are free *with paying adult!) Table fee also lets you stay and continue to play games from our board game library of over 500 games! Reminder: We offer a full menu of delicious food and drinks, so no outside food or beverages.
