Madrone Hospice will be hosting monthly gatherings to explore the topics of death, dying, and grief!
These events will be facilitated by Lisa Marie, Certified Death Doula, as a way to bring our community together and connect with resources and wisdom.
The 2026 event calendar will alternate between a specific educational topic, and an open-forum called a Death Cafe.
A Death Cafe is a global movement that creates space for meaningful community dialogue around death.
These events are completely FREE and will be hosted the 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30-7 pm at Preservation Hall in Yreka.

June 25th - Medical Aid in Dying
July 23rd - Death Cafe
August 27th - Funerary & Burial Options

October 22nd - Honoring Ancestry
November 19th - Movement for Grief
December 17th - Winter Grief Art Circle
