We launch promptly at the trip's start time.WHERE: Mill Creek Metroparks- Lake Newport- East Newport Boat RampDETAILS: Meet at the East Newport boat ramp on Lake Newport. You can access East Newport Drive from either Shields Rd. or Brookwood Rd. in Boardman, or from Kiwatha Rd. in Youngstown (off Glenwood Ave). We suggest using the Google Maps navigation app to get there. GPS Coordinates: 41.06007° N, -80.67418° W.You can bring your own kayak or use one of ours. Arrive 30 minutes early to complete waivers and unload equipment. Suggested personal items to bring: sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, drinking water, snacks, hand sanitizer, and binoculars.
