Saturday, March 22– Bird and Wildflower Hike, Econfina Creek, Pitt Springs to Williford Springs. We will meet at the parking area of Pitt Springs Recreation Area on Hwy 20 near the bridge over Econfina Creek at 8:00-8:15. This is a fairly easy one-mile hike over uneven trails with some elevation changes. Expect lots of beautiful wildflowers, hopefully, early spring migrants, and other area birds such as red-headed woodpeckers. Wear sturdy hiking shoes. Ron will have some hiking sticks. After returning, we will eat lunch in the picnic area.
