Join us for an evening of remembrance and solidarity as we honor the lives of transgender individuals who have been tragically lost to anti-transgender violence. This Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) event brings our community together to celebrate the resilience, courage, and legacy of those no longer with us, while reaffirming our commitment to justice and equality.
Candlelight Vigil: Participate in a candlelighting ceremony to honor each name, with moments of silence and reflection.
Reading of Names: A heartfelt commemoration of those we have lost this year, standing in solidarity with families and friends.
Community Reflections: Space will be provided for attendees to share their thoughts, reflections, and personal stories, fostering connection and healing.
Together, let us stand as a united community against hatred, violence, and discrimination, and affirm the dignity and rights of every person. This Transgender Day of Remembrance, let us reflect, honor, and continue the fight for a world free from violence and fear.
All are welcome — allies, advocates, friends, and family. If you’re interested in speaking at the event, please reach out to Katie at:
