supported, Yorkville Prairie is a rare and irreplaceable treasure. Today, invasive brush threatens its health— with your help, we can bring it back to life.

For the past few years, a small but mighty group has been working to restore this prairie. Now we’re inviting YOU to join us as we kick off another season of stewardship.

We’ll walk, learn, and work side-by-side to protect this special place. Whether you’d like to help plan and lead, or simply pitch in for the day, every set of hands makes a difference.

Bring work gloves, closed-toe shoes, and warm clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (extra gloves will be available). Together, we can help Yorkville Prairie thrive again!

Meet at the first parking lot on Sundown Lane at Saw Wee Kee Park.
