Spring Equinox Sound Bath

Join sound healing facilitator and yoga teacher Heather at Yorktown Yoga and Wellness for a sound bath healing workshop - honoring the Spring (or Vernal) Equinox, an auspicious time when the day and night is equal in length and we begin to have longer days.
This candlelit, meditative sound bath will honor this auspicious season. Relax into the sounds of crystal singing bowls and ocean drums. Sound frequencies have been used throughout many different cultures to bring mind, body, and spirit into alignment. Each singing bowl has been tuned to a healing frequency linked to one of the seven primary chakras, or energetic centers within the body. By releasing any energetic blockages through sound meditation, we can promote the free flow of energy to restore balance and a sense of wellbeing. Join us for an experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, uplifted, and ready to set your intentions as we prepare to move into spring. While bolsters, blankets, yoga mats, and chairs will be available, please bring any additional personal items you would like to ensure a comfortable experience.

This workshop is accessible to all students as any meditative posture can be used including a chair.
