Infused vinegars have made themselves at home in kitchens and pantries since as far back as the Middle Ages. Touted as an easy and approachable food preservation method, infused vinegars are also thought to carry the medicine of the plants, herbs, and spices used to make them. One of the most popular folk remedies - Fire Cider - is just that simple: an herbal- infused vinegar! Warming, pungent, and perfect for clearing sinuses. Fire Cider can be enjoyed as is, diluted, mixed with a sweetener of choice, or added to salad dressings and marinades.

Join us as we dive a little deeper into the history, ingredients, and preparation method of this versatile concoction. All participants will leave with a quart-sized batch of Fire Cider, ready to strain and use or gift in time for the winter holidays.
