YORK: Make your own Christmas Bauble

Get into the festive spirit and create something truly unique this season! Join us for a relaxed and welcoming workshop where you’ll design and make your very own felt and denim Christmas baubles – perfect for adding a personal, sustainable touch to your holiday décor.

This event is hosted by Where Friends Grow, a social club designed to help people meet new friends and connect with nature. Most attendees come solo, so don’t worry if you’re coming alone – you won’t be the only one! Our friendly host will be there to welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

🪡 What to expect:

• Learn the basics of stitching and sewing – no experience needed.
• Follow along with a helpful video tutorial to guide you through the craft.
• Enjoy a relaxed, chatty environment where conversation flows as freely as the creativity.
• Access our Pinterest inspiration board, filled with nature-inspired bauble ideas to spark your imagination.
  

🌿 Sustainability is at the heart of this event. The felt we’ll use is second-hand, rescued from an unused art project, and the denim comes from Cydline, a sustainable fashion brand. These are real offcuts and scraps from their bag-making process – meaning your bauble is not just beautiful but also eco-friendly and made to last for years to come.

👥 Who is this for? We welcome everyone, but most attendees are men and women in their 20s and 30s looking to meet new people and try something creative. You don’t need to be “crafty” – just bring curiosity and an open mind.

📍 Important info:

• Tickets are non-refundable, but if unforeseen circumstances arise, they can be transferred to a future event of the same cost.
