Do I need to book coach parking on (X date)?

Pre-booking is required for:

16th & 17th November

23rd & 24th November

30th November & 1st December

7th & 8th December

14th & 15th December

21st & 22nd December

What about if I am coming on a weekday, can I pre-book to ensure I get a space?

Parking can only be reserved for the dates above, weekday parking is subject to standard City of York Council charges – pay at the meter or via the RingGo app first come, first served.

Parking charges for Union Terrace:

Coach park open 8.00am - 11.00pm.

up to 1 hour £7.80

over three hours peak season £18.50

over eight hours peak season £27.00

If you book a weekend parking slot, we can offer to reimburse weekday bookings on provision of your receipt.

Can I book over the phone?

How much is coach parking?

Standard rate £65 + VAT for weekends.

Standard City of York Council charges for weekdays.

I’ve changed my arrival date / number of coaches etc. Can I change my booking?

I am not coming for Christmas, will I have to pay the Christmas market charges?

Due to capacity in York over this busy period, the coach parking spaces are allocated to the Christmas Market event on the dates specified. This means that the Christmas Market charges apply if you would like to park in one of these spaces. Week days will be as normal.

What do I need to bring with me on the day to prove I have a booking?

Your confirmation ticket which is printable when the booking is made.

But I have lost / never received my ticket?

Please get in touch with us by email and we will be able to send a duplicate.

Can I park at St George’s Field?

Due to ongoing flood improvement works, St George’s Field car park is reduced in capacity and unavailable for Christmas coach bookings.
