🎉 WeCo Third Friday | A Quieter Night Out in Downtown York
First Friday has grown into something big and bustling, which is wonderful. But sometimes you want a night where you can actually linger, talk, wander, and enjoy things without rushing.
That’s why the merchants of WeCo created Third Friday.
On the third Friday of every month, our small, walkable neighborhood west of the Codorus Creek opens its doors for a calmer, more connected downtown experience. Think open studios, cozy galleries, good food, friendly faces, and room to breathe.
✨ What you’ll find:
-Artist studios and galleries you can truly explore
-Local shops open late with thoughtful, handmade goods
-Dinner, drinks, and special menus from neighborhood favorites
-Live music, pop-ups, and simple, welcoming activities
Third Friday is intentionally slower. It’s meant for wandering without a plan, bumping into neighbors, and actually enjoying what you discover. Come with friends, bring your family, or arrive solo and see where the night takes you.
📍 Where to go: Anywhere west of the Codorus Creek. A great place to start is Market & Newberry, then follow your curiosity.
🚗 Parking: Street parking is free after 5 PM. You’ll also find free, easy parking nearby, including free 2-hour parking at Foundry Plaza / Codorus Boat Basin at 234 W Clarke Ave, and free parking after 5 PM at York City Lot 17. Enter from Grant St off W Market St or Mason Ave off S Newberry St.
