However, this stretch of the Ouse contains a wealth of history from the centuries before and the years after the fashionable walkers graced the area. Join us as we retrace their steps starting near Millennium Bridge and making our way up-river past Tower Gardens to the Ouse Bridge. Along the way we will discover stories from 2,000 years of York's history including trade and transport, money and merchants, bridges and barriers and even music and merriment.
