The Jingle Ball is a non-profit event that benefits the Jodi Smith Readers to Leaders Scholarship Fund. The scholarship was created in honor of Jodi Smith, who passed away suddenly at the age of 47 in 2022. Jodi was a dedicated teacher in the Washington County School District in MD. Jodi's passions included teaching, literature and encouraging her students to aim for the stars. Jodi was one who always thought anyone could achieve a college education if you put the effort in. This scholarship is dedicated to those students who plan to further their education into teaching or literature. We have given 2 scholarships so far to high school seniors and would like to continue to encourage those students to apply for this finacial help from the use of this scholarship.
