The benefits of this practice are numerous. It helps to strengthen the nervous and glandular systems, improve flexibility and facilitate emotional transformation. A complete class includes pranayam (breathwork), kriyas (sets of yoga postures), mudras, eye-focus, body locks, and meditation, all put together in various dynamic combinations to bring balance to the body, calm and focus the mind, and awaken the spirit.
Introduction to Kundalini Yoga Taster Sessions
Class One: Understanding the kundalini energy, to feel it and sense it within and around the body. To elevate the energy, to remove limitations and blocks which stand in the way of us being our true selves. Learning the components of kundalini yoga which lead to an unique experience.
Class Two: Letting go! The biggest phenomena we deal with daily in our modern life is stress. Through simple and effective breathwork, kriya and mediation, we gain solutions to cope with stressful situations in an elegant way. Deepening the understanding that kundalini yoga offers a technology for us to change our outlook in as little as 3 minutes.
Class Three: Our birthright is happiness! Within this class we’ll gain a deeper appreciation of kundalini yoga and how it contributes to our ability to find meaning and to be happy in the everyday life we live. Using the tools offered though this practice to feel a sense of bliss.
