Intro to Macrame: Wall Hanging (Beginner-friendly!)

In this single-session, beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a macramé wall hanging attached to a dowel rod, ready to hang and decorate any space. This class is perfect for adults of all experience levels who are curious about macramé and want a hands-on, creative project. You’ll learn the two basic knots that form the foundation of all macramé patterns, how to follow a simple pattern, and how to work with macramé cord and attach your piece to a dowel rod. We will also discuss macramé’s vast applications in the world of fashion and interior design.

This class is both relaxing and fun, giving you the opportunity to explore a new craft and find peace in the repetitive motion of knotting. After the class, you will have the confidence to continue to try new macrame patterns at home. Feel free to sign up with a friend or come and meet new people as we craft together.

Age Requirement: Adults (18+)

Required Skills: This is a beginner-friendly class — no previous skills required, just bring your excitement to learn!
